HubSpot, the leading Inbound Marketing and sales platform, is set to introduce significant changes to its pricing model starting March 5, 2024.
In this blog, we'll break down the upcoming HubSpot pricing changes and explore what they mean for both new and existing HubSpot customers.
Starting March 5, 2024, HubSpot is unveiling a new pricing model, which will roll out a seats-based pricing model to all Hubs and subscription tiers - Free, Starter, Professional, and Enterprise.
With this change, HubSpot will remove seat minimums for Sales Hub and Service Hub and introduce the Core Seat and View-Only Seat.
It's important to note that existing customers won't be immediately affected.
In an FAQ document introducing the new pricing model, HubSpot said this about the new changes: “We're introducing an updated seats-based pricing model. With our new pricing model, customers can expect to pay only as they grow with a flexible pricing model that removes Sales and Service Seat minimums and supports executive insights with the new View-Only Seat. Moreover, customers will be able to connect their entire team to a shared experience through access to HubSpot's Smart CRM with the new Core Seat.”
Additional core seats are available for $50 (US) for Pro and $75 (US) for Enterprise.
In addition, partner seats are free with no limits, meaning your business will not need to pay for an agency to have seats within your HubSpot portal.
You can learn more about the new HubSpot Pricing model on the HubSpot pricing preview page.
The new pricing model will only be available to new customers on March 5, 2024. The option for existing customers to move to the new pricing model will only be available as part of HubSpot's phased migration approach - which HubSpot says will begin later this year and will take several months, likely extending into 2025.
As a result, the price of all existing customer's current subscriptions will not be impacted by the pricing change in the short term. They'll remain on their current pricing model at this time.
HubSpot will share additional details on migration timelines with existing customers in March 2024.
