Stay Informed: Key HubSpot Product Updates from March 2024

Written by Julia Tarini | Apr 15, 2024 6:25:10 PM

HubSpot continues to evolve its platform with a range of valuable updates designed to empower your marketing, sales, and service teams. Here's a quick rundown of some of the key features introduced in March 2024.

Marketing Hub:

Enhanced Marketing Calendar

The Marketing Calendar (found in your campaigns tool) has had some improvements to its UI, making it easier to see what is scheduled or published all in one simple view (Marketing Hub Pro & Enterprise).

Comparing campaigns

Analyze performance across up to 10 campaigns simultaneously to identify top performers based on your chosen metrics (Marketing Hub Pro+).

New Journey Analytics Limits

HubSpot has expanded the capabilities of Journey Analytics for Enterprise users. This includes:

  • Extended data range: Analyze journey reports for up to five years (previously three).
  • Increased step limit: Define journeys with more complex workflows using five steps per stage (previously three).
  • Multi-level filtering: Apply multiple filters based on contact properties and stage-specific events for more granular reporting.

Sales Hub:

New Deal Properties

HubSpot has added four new deal properties including:

  • Date Entered: Tracks the date a deal enters each pipeline stage.
  • Date Exited: Records the date a deal exits each pipeline stage.
  • Cumulative Time In: Measures the total time a deal spends in each stage.
  • Latest Time In: Indicates the most recent duration a deal spent in a stage. (Available for all Pro+ users)
Control Deal Stage Editing Access

HubSpot now allows Super Admins to grant editing access for "locked" deal stages to specific users and teams. Previously, only super admins could edit deals in stages with restricted editing. This update empowers you to assign editing permissions for these stages, providing more flexibility and control over your sales pipeline (HubSpot Pro+ Customers).

Service Hub:

Merging tickets in Help Desk (Beta)

Help Desk allows Service Hub users to organize their service tickets efficiently in one place. In this tool, you’re able to merge duplicate tickets with the ability to switch the primary ticket at any time (Service Hub Pro+ - Beta Participants only).

Migrate Chatflows with Help Desk

If you have a chatflow that is associated with your conversations inbox, you can move it to the help desk directly from the chatflows page, allowing for your chatflows to live in the help desk environment (Service Hub Pro+).

App Marketplace & Integrations:

New Apps + Updates

There are a plethora of updates to the apps that are listed in the HubSpot App Marketplace. It’s important to stay up-to-date with these changes to the apps that you have integrated into your HubSpot portal as well as they new ones added to the App Marketplace. In Q1, there were 57 new apps added.

Google Consent Mode V2 HubSpot now supports Google Consent Mode V2 - if you’re using the Google Analytics 4 or Google Tag Manager integration, you can now use Google consent as part of your ads policy.
